Fatality Crash
Campbell Road and North Central Expwy Frontage Road
Richardson, TX

On January 10, 2021, at approximately 10:10 PM, the Richardson Police Department responded to a crash at the intersection of W. Campbell Rd. and the West Frontage Road of N. Central Expressway. The driver of a 2014 Honda CRV was traveling southbound in right lane of the frontage road and entered the intersection with W. Campbell Rd. on a green traffic signal for his direction of travel. A pedestrian walking east on W. Campbell Rd. attempted to cross the roadway at the frontage road and was struck by the vehicle. 

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital by Richardson Fire Department paramedics where he died from his injuries. He has been identified as 50-year-old Alan Faulkner of Richardson.

The driver of the Honda CRV remained at the scene and was not injured.

Crash investigators are continuing with the investigation.
