The Richardson jail houses arrested persons pending their release on bond, transfer to other facilities such as county jails or appearance in court. Call for information.

Arraignments:
Arraignments are generally held once a day, at approximately 11:00am, but can occur at alternate times to accommodate magistrate schedules.

Posting Bond:
To get out of jail when arrested for a felony or misdemeanor (other than a Class C misdemeanor):

•  Pay the bond at the Dallas County Sheriffs Office located at 111 Commerce in Dallas 

or

• Pay the bond at the Collin County Sheriffs Office located at 4300 Community Blvd in McKinney.
