Are you planning to solicit in the City of Richardson? You might need a permit to be in compliance with the law. Below are some examples of the types of solicitation permits issued by the Richardson Police Department:

  • Door to Door Solicitations
  • Handbills
  • Non-Residential Solicitation
  • Mobile Food Vendors
  • Charitable Solicitation in a Roadway

Application for a permit to solicit may be downloaded from the link below.

  Solicitor Permit Application
Complete the application and bring it to the Richardson Police Department located at 200 N. Greenville Avenue, Richardson, TX 75081. The application must be notarized and accompanied by the required non-refundable permit application fee. The Police Department has 10 days to process your application. When the application has been approved, you will be notified by telephone to come to the PD to obtain the permit. You will also be notified if the application is denied.

Applications with incomplete, illegible, or missing information will not be processed and the permit fee will not be refunded.
